GNOSTIC was formed in ..97 with a demonic obsession toward challenging and blugeoning S.A. METAL SCENE with a bottom line purpose "TO PLAY BLACK FUCKING WAR METAL!!" Thus recording 'vistigium de monasterion" 4 TRACKS OF BLASTING BLACK/DEATH..that was immediatly embracedby the S.A. unholy and through out the underground….. Futher gaining respect and support of local and national acts like ANGEL CORPSE,JUNGL ROT MALEVOLENT CREATION ,CANNIBAL CORPSE THORNSPAWN,etc…..in late ..98 GNOSTIC returned to the studio to release thier second effort entitled ..BLOODWARS OF HERETIC SUPREMACY.. with bloodsoaked anthems that not only obliterate the scene but also gained acclaimed recognition through the underground hordes.. In a time when american black metal eclipses their origins and reemerges as the most darkened genre for the new millenium.GNOSTIC emerges with yet another release. 2 song promo.NECROBLITERATION which cast in stone and dissects your every sense and injects the fury of infernal heretic allegiance.GNOSTIC RELEASES BLOODWARS OF HERETIC SUPREMACY,THRU GOAT PROD.AND WAS RELEASED IN CDR FORMAT.AND INCLUDED NECROBLITERATION PROMO..AND RECIEVED IMEDIATE RESPONSE…THRU THE EUROPEAN ELITE in 1999..REALMS OF DARKNESS SIGHNS gnostic to a 2 album deal..which thru the constant politics of indie labels was cut and realms releases gnostic on a four way split with dark horizon recs.2001..soon after gnostic sighns with ORDEALIS RECS. FRANCE AND BLOODWARS WAS RE-RELEASED ON VYNIL AND 2003'S EVOKING THE DEMON FULL LENGTH..FINALLY SEES THE LIGHT OF DAY.. GNOSTIC FELL ON TRAGEDY IN 2005 WHEN FOUNDING MEMBER GRIMLORD NECROGHOUL..WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER ..AND IMMEDIATLY STOPPED PRE-PRODUCTION FOR GNOSTICS 3RD FULL-LENGTH RELEASE WITH INFERNUS REX..AS THE SITUATION PROGRESSED AND 3RD FULL LENGTH ON THE BACK BURNER 2005 GNOSTIC DECIDES ALONG WITH INFERNUS REX TO RELEASES RARE OBSCURE EARLY RECORDINGS OF THE BAND..SO THE BAND WENT ON HIATUS….THEN WE MOURNED THE PASSING OF OUR WAR BROTHER AND FREIND..GRIMLORD NECROGHOUL…RIP.!! 2006 BROUGHT THE END OF AN ERA..FOR GNOSTIC..IN 2007 WITH OBLITERATER AND NECROINFERNO GNOSTIC ONCE AGAIN WITH A NEW FOCUS RECRUIT SWORNGHOUL,GUITAR AND BLACKTHORN ON BASS OF THORNSPAWN WHICH WAS THE OBVIOUS CHOICE..AND NECRO WAR BROTHER ONIT OF OBIESENCE AS 2ND GUITARIST..WITH THE SUCCES AND LINE UP COLLABORATION..DUE TO CONFLICT OF INTEREST GNOSTIC PARTS WAYS WITH NECROINFERNO ,AND RECRIUTS THE MIGHTY ZOLRAK OF NODENS ,MORBOSIDAD TO TAKE OVER BATTLE CANNONS ..GNOSTIC ALONG WITH DISASTRIOUS RECS..PLAN A NEW FULL LENGTH FOR EARLY 2009 BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!
