Awake is the second studio album by the heavy metal/hard rock band Godsmack. It was released on October 31, 2000. It features the song "Goin' Down" which first appeared on the band's first studio recording All Wound Up. This was the only Godsmack album to feature the drummer Tommy Stewart. Since the mid 2000s, the songs "Sick of Life" and "Awake" have been extensively used for the United States Navy's "Accelerate Your Life" commercials.

Godsmack is an American rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The band was founded by Sully Erna after his previous experience as a drummer, and early members included bassist Robbie Merrill, guitarist Lee Richards and drummer Tommy Stewart. After several early lineup changes, Tony Rombola joined on guitar in 1996, while Shannon Larkin later replaced Stewart on drums.
