Gola Gianni is a rapper from Vienna, Austria. The rapper currently represents trap music in Germany.
Gianni spent his childhood in Indonesia and the United States before moving to Austria until he was 16 years old. He is inspired by Young Chop, the producer of Chief Keef hits like "I Don't like", "Love Sosa" and "3Hunna". he starts by producing beats before eventually rapping over his own instrumentals – first in English and a bit later in German.
In April 2020, Gola Gianni marked his musical debut with the three-track EP "777". Following this, he dropped the single "Vanessa" in November and the seven-track EP "Golapack" in December of the same year.
In the following year, 2021, the rapper released 7 singles, such as the song D.O.D together with Eli Preiss. The same year's singles "Fledermaus" and "Mary Poppins" have over a million streams. His third EP "Golapack 2" was released in August of the same year.
After a slew of singles, Gianni released his debut album "Golapack 3" in March 2022, which has remained his latest "Golapack" release. In the same year, he released his second album in October "Unsympathisch".
In 2023, Gola Gianni released the third album "STERBE FINESSEN" in March. "2 Handys", released in the same year, is the artist's most streamed album with over seven million streams. The snippet of the song went viral on the TikTok platform with over 4000 video uses and over 8 million views.
