Biography
Formed in 2003, Gonculator pioneers a new and exciting genre of music. Rooted in rock from the 60s and 70s, they add a modern character to the ideals of the legendary artist. With succinct songwriting and lush harmonies, Gonculator explores themselves and the world at large. At times masked by poignant, humorous literal imagery, they depict both the serendipity and dark irony of being. Thriving upon a creative energy greater than themselves, Gonculator never fails to leave jaw-dropped and wide-eyed witnesses begging for more.
OMNOMNOM
Released by Fierce Little Records in May 2010, was recorded at the Hollow Recording Studio in Syracuse, NY. The LP was mastered by renowned music producer, Kramer, who not only founded the Shimmy-Disc record label, but has worked with bands such as The Butthole Surfers, Ween, Sonic Youth, Gwar, King Missile, and more.
