Edinburgh-based traditional flute player and music leader Gordon Turnbull plays in Irish dance group Absolutely Legless, in The Big Squeeze Ceilidh Band and with Cauldstane Slap, an Edinburgh-based traditional music group . He also collaborates with others and has solo side projects, some traditional-based such as Ormeau Café, others experimental and improvised.
