Biography
GREY ZINE was an alternative rock band from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Evan (Guitar/Vocals) William (Bass/Vocals) and Kyle (Drums) began writing songs during the summer of 2011 and released a demo later that year. Their first live performance took place in January of 2012 at Redwood Art Space in Plains Township, Pennsylvania. "Repent" was featured on the "Stuck in the Valley" compilation along with Petal, Tigers Jaw, Noise Pet, Haze, and others. The band released their first single "Hopesfault" on November 13, 2012 which gained the attention of NME Radar and Brooklyn Vegan. The track was also featured on Run For Cover Records "Mixed Singles" Compilation. Their split 7" with Miserable was released in November of 2013 via RFC.
In 2014, the band announced they were parting ways. Guitarist Evan James formed Past Life.
