This was a pseudonym for Duke Ellington and his band. Two tracks were issued under this name in 1930, "Sing You Sinners" and "St. James Infirmary", on the budget label Hit of the Week Records, whose records were made of Durium. The two tracks have been re-issued on modern formats.
