Frisbie was released on the 15th of September, 1995 by and quartet, Heavy Vegetable. Recorded between March 1st to July 9th of the same year; Frisbie is Heavy Vegetable's last album that they would release and do as a band before disbanding the same year. This also happens to be their sophomore album.

Already carving out a unique sound that they've already done in their early work like The Amazing Undersea Adventures of Aqua Kitty and Friends, Frisbie and Heavy Vegetable as a whole manages stand amidst it's contemporaries of the early scene that began to boom off in the mid-90's in California like; PEE through it's playful, poppy, dense and complex sound, and embracing a more cutesy aesthetic akin to , and it's undertones.

Frisbie would only be released on CD under Headhunter Records. But between 1995 (the same year of disbandment), Both Aqua Kitty and Friends and Frisbie would be released on vinyl, a sort of compilation; called, "2 Records Price Of 1". Releasing on the same label they've signed to years ago, 2 Records Price Of 1 is a double LP that has both artworks of both CD's on the front of the sleeve and the CD's back artwork on the back respectfully. Two variants exist. A black one and a more yellowish-green one.

Both sophomore album and debut album would later end up being released on Bandcamp between March 16th and 17th of 2017 independently.
