HEBI KATANA is known as "Tokyo Samurai Doom".
The 2nd album produced by Yukito Okazaki from ETERNAL ELYSIUM / STUDIO ZEN as a producer is completed.
A shocking sound that brings back the heavy feeling of BLACK SABBATH and BUDGIE to the present day!
The 1st album released in 2020 attracted attention in the overseas scene, and labels from various countries such as Italy, Argentina, US and Poland. More release realized. Only half a year after that, they completed the remarkable 2nd album. Based on the royal road doom sound and the music with the blues feeling derived from 70's, the band ensemble with more euphoric feeling gets a lot of attention. A full lineup of songs such as "Devastator", which freely grooves from a side-beating beat to double bass, and "Agua De Vida", which enhances smoke and trip feeling under the direction of Mr. Okazaki. In the mellow "Underneath the Sky" and "Running In my Vein", the taste that has withered moderately is impressive. With the help of an effectively crafted album composition, it can be argued that they have reached the next level in this work. Don't miss the further leap of "Tokyo samurai doom" !!

HEBI KATANA was formed in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. What started in extensive jam sessions and first demo recordings on an iPhone, would soon become a monolith of a heavy doom debut, when the trio took the heavy music community by storm with their self-released album. In 2021, the Samurai doomsters teamed up with the Italian powerhouse label Argonauta, who released their first full-length album as a part of the Argonauta LTD100 Vinyl-series.
While HEBI KATANA‘s second album, Impermanence, was distributed earlier in February, 2022 via Unforgiven Blood Records (disk Union) in Japan, heavy and classic doom metal fans who have a soft spot for 70’s vintage rock, dark melodies, big groove and a hint of grunge, should give an ear and watch out, because Impermanence is available now in the rest of world.
The band has kept going on tours and had a lot of gigs in Japan.
in December, 2022 they toured in Chille and made it a huge success. The 3rd album III will be release on December 13 2023 and looking forward to their next tour abroad!
