Henning Schmiedt was born in 1965 in Schlema/Saxonia.
As a composer, arranger, pianist on over 70 CDs with international artists such as Mikis Theodorakis, Maria Farantouri, Zülfü Livaneli, Jocelyn B. Smith. Participation from small ensembles up to symphony orchestras such as DSO, Athens Philharmonic Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra-
concerts worldwide with his music that crosses the boundaries between jazz, world and contemporary music.
