Hollywood Principle is an electronic music duo from San Diego consisting of Elliott Sencan and Mike Ault. The project was formed in 2013 as a trio together with vocalist Kayla Hope. Their first single "Find Me Out" debuted in December of 2014. In 2015, the singles Seeing What's Next and Firework were featured in the 2015 game “Rocket League”, as well as Breathing Underwater (Ether Remix) which drew many new fans to the band.
In 2016, their single Solar Eclipses was selected as the theme for the new Rocket League update, “Starbase Arc”, and featured a collaboration with rapper Dr. Awkward.
Their second album Colors saw the group exploring more jazz oriented harmony, heavy metal influences, and contemporary R&B sounds.
After the release of the Colors: The Remixes E.P., the band parted ways with their Hope in 2023, leaving the duo of Ault and Sencan.
