To describe the holstuonarmusigbigbandclub as a conventional folk music group would simply be a mistake. The instruments used would be classified as usual in the folk music scene, but by no means the 5 musicians who use them. All of them grandmasters in their field and instructed in the high art of folk music from an early age, today they strive to raise this traditional style of music to new spheres with very innovative and creative means.
In search of basic material for their musical forays, they don't shy away from sifting through the hit lists or digging deep into the hit box. And so neither Queen nor the Beatles nor Adriano Celentano are spared from their carefree creativity.
