Hot Sundae was a (fictional) pop singing group on the TV show Saved by the Bell. They were featured in the episode entitled "Jessie's Song."
The band's original members were:
Jessie Spano (played by Elizabeth Berkeley)
Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani-Amber Thiessen)
Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies)
The group was named by manager Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), who got them a record contract by secretly recording them as they sang the Pointer Sisters' "I'm So Excited."
The group recorded only one single, "Go For It!" which featured all three vocalists singing in unison, accompanied by a synthesizer and drum machine. A video was also filmed for this single.
When Spano's caffeine-pill addiction rendered her unable to perform, she was replaced by Screech Powers (Dustin Diamond). Unfortunately, this displeased record executives, and after their disastrous first performance, Hot Sundae was never heard from again.
