There is more than one band by the name of Housefire:
1. damaged/decomposed techno and psy-op trance created via cassette four track and loops by Luciann Waldrup of North Carolina. "Electric Bathwater - beachboyswhenyoudie" is her contribution to the "Feral Grind" compilation released on Perc's label Submit.

2. A band hailing from Portland, OR, composed of members Joseph, Jon, Chris, Joey, Max, and James. Formed in 2009, their music could be described as electronic/shoegaze/ambient. Housefire has been described as having "an impressive blend of layered instrumentation and folk-driven melodies, not to mention solid musicianship," and has built up a strong local fan base.
