Howling Black Soul initially sprang from a shared obsession for bands such as ‘Led Zeppelin’, ‘Free’, Cream’, ‘Jimi Hendrix’, 'Black Sabbath' and other late 60’s/early 70’s music and the dark art of the blues specialists. Their sound is steeped in blues; however, they have developed a modern spin on the classic genre and build on contemporary influences such as; ‘White Stripes’, ‘The Black Keys' etc to create a new rock experience.
