Biography
Hurricäde were a Girona based post-hardcore/screamo band born in early 2007. Following the recording and publishing of their first "Self-Titled" LP in 2008, Hurricäde engages in a regular concert activity including several underground festivals and a brief European tour. Pariah's Pharos, a 4-track EP, is released through Caleiah (Madrid) and Hurricäde's local label Saltamarges three years later. The release of their second full-length Anachronisms in 2014 -recorded and mastered by the Ultramarinos' Garcia brothers- consolidates Hurricäde's sound and gives birth to the bands' most prolific period in terms of live appearances.
After eight years of activity, Hurricäde performs one last time at the iconic Atzavara Club on the 20th of June 2015 and enters an indefinite hiatus. A year later, a 7-inch Split EP with Descubriendo a Mr. Mime is published, including two previously unreleased tracks recorded by Hurricäde shortly before their farewell.
