Biography
A muscular noisepop/rock band from Oakland. Frequently compared to Hot Snakes, Husker Du, etc. January of 2009, these former members of The Vice, Coma Girl, and Green Light The Bombers went into the studio with Tim Green of San Francisco’s “Louder Studios” and recorded their debut album Hold The Angle. This introductory testimony includes eight songs about everything from Arctic explorations gone awry, to living on the grid, and all of the attendant paranoia and rage that comes with living in this modern world – each of which flirting with grit, noise and pop. A followup split 7" with Victory and Associates and some regional touring later, the men of Hurry Up Shotgun prepare for their next opus.
