Musician Sasha Plumo records under this name.
Sasha learned sound engineering at Krasnoyarsk, and also plays
laconic half-hour DJ sets at a local club, during which time he can fit in up to 50 tracks.
The sound of I Va is inspired by electro-funk, synthpop and lo-fi music. Sasha asserts that, contrary to his education, he consciously sought to acheive roughness and
bruising sound. All 7 tracks of his debut album (none of which, incidentally, exceeds 2 minutes in duration) share his unique touch - in the sound and rhythm, and the bitter-sweet harmonies.
