Biography
Iktara is a Musical Duo of Gautam & Nikhil who (apart from having full-time IT jobs) write, compose and sing Soulful and Original Hindi and English Songs. The lyrics and the melodies are refreshing and every effort has gone in to launch the First Digital Release called Skyas.
Skyas (pronounced as Kee-ya) which is Iktara's Debut Musical Release - means “change of abode” in Tibetan.
The Album circles around people’s lives and experiences and exhibits different passing shades of us all. Iktara’s music was formed over time during Iktara’s travels across United States and India, especially in the Great Himalayan Mountains. Each song tells a real life story. With a strong melody-line and soulful lyrics, the Music speaks of simple things in life and will leave you pondering.
