Imphal Talkies N The Howlers is an Alternative / Folk Rock band based in Imphal/Delhi, India. Formed in the summer of 2008, the name of the band is derived from a local movie theatre, 'Imphal Talkies' in Imphal, In. The band members with PhD & MPhil degrees, writes lyrics on contemporary issues and performs regularly in music concerts and public protest, often showing their Dylanesque style. The band performs in both, English and Manipuri and have played at a number of venues in and around Imphal, Delhi and have done gigs abroad too.
