I honestly can't believe I didn't like this album when it first came out. I thought it didn't compare to their previous albums. I don't know what I was thinking.

This is my second favorite Incubus album (to Make Yourself), and I feel their most underrated.

Wow, I'm only halfway in and I'm finding this album to be incredible. If you enjoy this, you should really check out Envy on the Coast's new album 'Lowcountry'. It seems to borrow so many influences from this that it's insane, but it's an incredible album.. in fact, it's what got me into Incubus. Give it a listen sometime.

So underrated! Definitely their best album. They kept elements from early albums while experimenting, opening their sound, acquiring maturity and improving in terms of songwriting. Too bad Light Grenades didn't stand up to it. I don't know if they'll ever top this, everything they put out has been so weak and souless ever since. Sick Sad Little World is imo the best song on this record and one of their best songs.

A brilliant album, all experimental but not pushing too far - the sort of album that appeals to all sorts, from alt rock fans, to indy fans to metal heads (not sure why, but it does for some reason). I love this album, whenever I hear it I think back to the book I always used to read while listeneing to this, "Weaveworld"...so it's even more magical!
