Biography
AN INTERMEDIATE STATE BETWEEN "ROCK" AND "POP, "LIVE" AND "ELECTRONIC", DARK AND POSITIVE, REALITY AND FANTASY, RETRO AND FUTURISM - HERE AND NOW.
INTERZONA was formed in New York in 1999. The band released two albums (at NYC Proforma Records and NMC – the official licensee of Sony Music in Israel), participated in several compilations (Israeli NMC, German ZYX, Russian Manchester Files) and a soundtrack for a movie (“Spy Games: A Personal Visit” – NTV Networks Worldwide) and played numerous concerts in NYC area (Hammerstein Ballroom, China Club, CBGB, Webster Hall, Roxy, Don Hills, The Hook, Galapagos, Village Underground, South Paw…) and beyond (Boston, Seattle, Portland, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev).
In 2010, INTERZONA released "Interzona E.P. 2010" (Interscope Digital Distribution) and participated in the compilation "Soderzhanie (Substance) Mix" (Stereo&Video, Moscow).
The new LP "Secret Sessions" is scheduled to be released in Berlin in January 2011. Compilation "Soderzhanie-2" featuring the new song recorded especially for this project will come out in Moscow some time in the near future. Details TBA.
