Iron Steel is a heavy metal band from Atlanta, Georgia. The band was formed on the No Fear Music Tour by Fran Strine when he was bored one day and wanted to make song. He decided to have some members of the bands who were on that tour (DragonForce, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, He Is Legend) help him write the smash hit "Attack". The song was all about having trouble hooking up with groupies while on tour. He later formed a full-time band, which consisted of Tommy Redd (Redd Threat) and Dan Klein (Apocalyptic Visions) on guitars, David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth, F5, Temple of Brutality), Jim LaMarca (Chimaira), and Rachel Bolan (Skid Row) on bass, and Morgan Rose (Sevendust) on drums. They recorded an EP titled "Devil May Care". They are now in the process of recording their full-length album. The album is scheduled to have special guest appearances from a number of people on the album, including Herman Li (DragonForce), Vadim Pruzhanov (DragonForce), Aaron Lewis (Staind), and Mike Mushok (Staind). On the album will be the songs from the EP, a few covers, and new original songs. It is not known when it will be released.
