Biography

Ital Noiz is a dub project based in Rome, put together by Giulio Ferrante aka Giuliobass, bass player and vocalist, original member of Radici nel Cemento (www.radicinelcemento.it) one of the historical Italian reggae bands (since 1995), and Angelo Morrone aka Mr Fasa, keyboard player, sound engineer and reggae producer.

Ital Noiz, can be translated as “positive noise”, and started in 2009, releasing a demo cd and playing around Italy, appearing in different clubs and festivals like the Rototom Sunsplash, one of the most important reggae events in Europe.

In June 2010 the first single, named “Ital Noiz”, was released on the Deep Root label, featuring a Perch remix and Ital Noiz’s mix.

Ital Noiz’s live show is a power dubical experience.. a bass therapy mix through roots, jungle, stepper, drum ‘n bass…

There are a few cover versions amongst original tunes where the powerful and hypnotic riddim supports the vocal contents always aiming to satisfy while meditating upon conscious lyrics.

The show, and the recordings too, often involve guest vocalists and/or musicians such as a horn section that adds flames to the groove!

The band is now releasing its debut album “Everyday Jungle”, recorded in Rome but mixed in Germany by Neil Perch again!
