Jordan Blake (born November 28th, 1981) known by his primary stage name "J Murda" but also his alter ego "Grip". He has used names like "Young Gotti, Ice Money and Capital Crime". J Murda was ranked 1 for local hip hop on May 8th, 2009. He is an American rapper, producer and President of More Music Records/Bloodline Ent Company. He temporarily served on the label "Luxury Box Records" for 2 months before reopening the doors to More Music Records/Bloodline Ent. The EP "The Justice of War Mixtape" served as a release for Luxury and More Music. He also is the leader of the ‘Armed Assassins’ group. J Murda quickly came onto the scene after his first release in 9/99 ‘Thru Hell and Back’. He followed with more albums until his retirement in 2002. He came back onto the scene in 2005 with new underground albums. It was not until 2007 with the internet, social networking sites, and the newly created Mercenary Road studios that his work was heard around the world and on CD. With 22 albums to his name spanning 1999-2009 his most praised work was the 3/08 release of ‘Between Night and Morning’ and his 3/09 release of ‘The Rise and Fall’ which were both produced and executive produced by The Visionary. J Murda has developed the greatest album of all time titled "One Night In July" which he executive produced and produced himself with no guest appearances and was released on 7/1/09.
