Biography
J.F.C. 98 was an experimental electronica project formed in March 1998 by 11 year old beginning producer Jeremey Davis and fellow friends and future producers Felix J. Milla & Christina Wyles.
The first single 3 Strings was released in June 1998 to a lukewarm reception from mostly family and friends… they took the criticisms to heart and delved back into honing on their talent with the 2nd release Sunshine being heard on September 1998 which was far more well received by friends and family, with the track having vocals sung by Christina. The 3 rising producers and vocalist were feeling real good about the feedback and decided to release one more single before working on the debut studio album.
The 3rd and final single You're Free with vocals by Christina was released in December 1998 to again a fairly good reception from friends and family. After the release they began work on the debut album titled THR33, which only had 1 more original track being done called The Level while the other 3 tracks were shorten for radio release. The album became an EP and was released in January 1999 to again lukewarm reception from friends and family.
After the release of the EP tensions were rising within the group and it led to it breaking up in February 1999 with producer Jeremey Davis working on a new alias called FJ7 Project, Felix pursuing his own musical journey and producer/vocalist Christina Wyles following Jeremey into his new alias. They have always stayed in touch with each other and have hung out when the time was right, and Felix would join up with him again in other future projects.
In June 2015, after 17 years both Jeremey and Christina brought the project back for a new single which was a previously unfinished track by Felix who sadly could not complete in due to his murder in August 2006. The track Good To Love You with vocals by Christina was released in July 2015 and again was ended the day after the release. The project remains closed after 9 years.
