Hailing from San Diego, CA, Jaken is a driven, passionate and charismatic artist with a unique approach to his blend of chill out, trip-hop and electronica.
Jaken has been on the scene since the late 90s, and his first affair with electronic music was all about working with house, trance and hip-hop. Gradually, he developed a fondness for textures and space, leading to a sound that bridges the gaps between warm beats, lush sonic landscapes and uplifting, dreamy melodies; not unlike artists such as The Album Leaf or Boards of Canada, just to name a couple.
