James Giovanni Lares, popularly known as James Lares as his stage name, is an independent American singer-songwriter. and producer born in San Antonio, Texas. He began his musical journey by releasing his debut single titled "BURN," marking the first step in his music career. This was followed by the release of "GHOST GIRL" as another single being his first release to be featured. After a year, he launched his debut extended play (EP), INSIDE MY HOUSE. In shaping his musical style, Lares finds profound influence from acclaimed figures such as Sub Urban, Melanie Martinez, and Playboi Carti.
