Biography
Jeanette Landray (also known as Ginette Landre) is an English dancer, choreographer, and singer. She is best known for her vocals on The Glove's only album, Blue Sunshine.
Landray met Robert Smith and Steven Severin through her former boyfriend Budgie (a drummer for Siouxsie and the Banshees among other groups). Smith and Severin had been working on music for The Glove, but due to a recording contract Smith was prohibited from singing for any group other than the Cure. Though she did not have previous experience as a singer, Landray agreed to provide vocals for the record.
Blue Sunshine was released in 1983 and well-received. During the 1980s, Landray mainly worked as a dancer and choreographer in London, but also sang for the short-lived group Kiss That. Currently, she has left the music business.
