Jeffie Genetic and His Clones are a one man band comprised of Jeff McCloy, formally of the New Town Animals. The clones play snotty 77 style punk rock.
The Clones put out Need A Wave in 2004 on Dirtnap records. Currently defunct, Jeff now plays in the band the Tranzmitors who have realeased a number of 7"s on various labels such as Dirtnap, Deranged, and No Front Teeth, among others. The Tranzmitors self titled LP was also put out by Deranged Records in 2007 and a four song 12" EP fallowed in 2008 and an LP compiling their first four 7"s as "Busy Singles" .
Killed By Jeff was released on vinyl by Lady Kinky Karrot Records in late 2007. Only 300 copies were made. Killed By Jeff was a reissue of The Clones first/only album, Need A Wave plus 5 bonus tracks, three unreleased, and two demos that later went on to be Tranzmitors songs.
Currently Jeffrey is waiting for his latest solo project, Just Jeffrey, to release his debut album, "Coffee, Tea and Me"
