Biography
In the late months of 2007, Jeremiah Pena picked up a piece of notation paper and journeyed into the unknown realms of music composition. He had taken formal piano lessons for 4 years, and was just starting cello. His first composition, entitled “Black Hole Magic Theme,” went on to win a UT State Award in the Reflections contest. With that achievement unlocked, he decided to become a composer.
Jeremiah has now composed 2 full albums, Fractured Equinox and Carbon Destruction, and worked on many other composing projects, such as the Exist soundtrack, Tubed Pipelines, and Nonexistent. He is currently the composer for the award winning internet Sci-Fi Series, Youtupolis (as of Episode 3).
He is a percussionist, cellist, and insane at the art of piano improv. Besides composing, he loves macro-photography, writing short stories, and being a technology geek.
