Biography

Jerry The Mule is a project that took shape in January 2011.

Marco Benvenuti - Guitar and backing vocals
Diego Pistelli - Bass, Synths and lead vocals
Daniel Baiocchi - Harmonica and backing vocals
Andrea Novelli - Drums and percussion

The multifaceted and versatile guitarist and songwriter Marco Benvenuti was attracted to the manner of the London blues scene. He and bassist Diego Pistelli saw the opportunity to realize their dreams and start a band.

Within a few weeks, the concept of power-trio with drummer Andrea Novelli was realized, thus creating the direction of the band. But then an encounter with Daniel Baiocchi, who's harmonica-style pure blues was characterized by remarkable versatility, changed all that which thus resulted in the permanent and current lineup.

Flowing from the veins of the first Italian electric blues band from London, who captured the black sound of the America Delta, was the beginning of a solid body sound and overdrive.

This is also the story of Jerry, a rebellious protagonist mule in a popular song, that was made famous by an African-American interpretation by Josh White. Jerry did not only become a profitable arrangement, but also became representative of the band's name as a symbol of a way to rock.

After only 9 months being together, the four had produced a versatile lineup, a live-in studio demo, but also a dozen unreleased songs, eight of which are present in the album debut, "Jerry The Mule".
