Biography
Jessica Says is Melbourne, Australia singer-songwriter Jessica Venables, a cellist, keyboardist and vocalist who has performed with the likes of Jens Lekman and Sally Seltmann.
Her debut solo album was released through Unstable Ape Records / Remote Control in 2009 and was recorded by Melbourne indie wunderkind Geoffrey O'Connor. She has since released a string of singles, 'World Without Men' (2010), 'Viens Viens' (2011, a cover of Marie Laforêt's classic French ballad) and 'Queen Of The Night' (2011).
Her greatest influences are Kate Bush, David Bowie and Leonard Cohen.
She is currently recording her second album.
