Biography
Jim the Ant was formed in 2009 by two compadres from the University of Clemson, Adam Hodges and Andrew Schneider. Hodges rips the ax (guitar, if you will) while Schneider lays down a funky beat (slappin da bass if you will) and both contribute to the delectable and often inspiring vocals. Jim the Ant described as "not bad" by some critics, and "awesome" by others, They are one of Pitchfork.com up and coming acts of 2009, with their first single "I'm So Ronery" quickly climbing up the Billboard Hot-200 and their first album is expected to be released later this year and make waves. Jim the Ant has been described as if Atomic Zoo and Johnny Cash had an illegitimate child that made beautiful music. Expect to see them make a significant splash in 2010 with the late 2009 release.
