A bit poppy compared to the albums beforehand but you know what. It's his Charme. It has so many cute tracks, it never feels too bombastic for it's own good but always feels genuine.

i know a lot of ppl who say they got bad or "sold out" after clarity which just isn't true.

"it was re-titled as a self-titled album so as to avoid controversy" didnt know that, i love facts like these for the boasting... ^^

Today is the first time in about 11 years that I've listened to this, and I wonder why I ever stopped. Pretty much every track is good enough to be a single.

this is definitely NOT their best album because clarity is a goddamn masterpiece but this is still fantastic

I'm almost ashamed I slept on this album because I thought it was too commercial. The ballads are almost as good as the tracks on Clarity.

When it was released I use to be obsessed with the first half of this album, so much so I almost completely ignored the second half. Started listening to that side and probably one of the few albums where every song is perfect. Even the B-Sides from this era were incredible.

I will always refer to this album as Bleed American. [2] even the band does, so there ;)

It's great listening to this album now that I've watched the documentary "Believe In What You Want" about how they made it. Some seariously hard-working guys. Great album.
