There are at least two artists named Joe Rilla:
1. Joe Rilla is a german Rapper from the Eastside of Berlin. His first contact with rap happened in 1985 with the eastgerman radiostation DT64.
He was a member of the Berlin-wide famous graffticrew CAF.
In 1994 he met Dj Denatic and started to write his first hiphop lyrics (first in english later in german)
1999 he founded the rapcrew "Analphabeten" with SMC and DJ N.Y.C.O. Joe rilla is also a producer in the producerteam Alphabeatz with Mesa. They produce for artists like Mista Sinista, Curse, Zion I, Pyranja, Harris, Phlatline, Karibik Frank and Aggro Berlin.
In 2003 he founded his own Label "OSTBLOKK-Plattenbau".
