2) Working under a number of peculiar aliases, most commonly Talcott Parsons & the FMC, Shlabotnik sought to make his limited instrumental skills, confused influences and rather skewed musical imagination add up to more than the sum of their parts through the magic of the four-track recorder. Active in Cambridge in the late 80s and early 90s, with self-produced tapes and rare live performances, before moving to the West Country and somehow falling into even deeper obscurity. Rumoured to have taken up jazz.
