Johann Caspar von Kerll or Kerl aka Johann Caspar Kerll, born April 9, 1627 in the Electorate of Saxony , died February 13, 1693 in Munich , was a German organist. He studied in Rome for Carissimi and Frescobaldi , was court conductor in Munich 1656-73, was knighted in 1664 by Emperor Leopold and was from 1677 cathedral organist in Vienna. Of his organ works, only Modulatio organica super Magnificat octo tonis (1686) is preserved.
