German composer, born 1962 in Murnau.He has been studied composition in Freiburg under Klaus Huber, Emanuel Nunes and Mathias Spahlinger.
In addition he attended courses in conducting with Peter Eötvös and music theory under Peter Förtig.
He works together with numerous ensembles of contemporary music (Ensemble Modern, Ensemble l’instant donné, ensemble recherche, Neue Vocalsolisten, ensemble ascolta, Das Neue Ensemble and so on).
