Biography
Jokujekku, real name Eljas Johannes Simeon Lehtovuori, is a Finnish beatmaker from Helsinki. His earliest work available on Spotify is the single Dus.T, which was released in October 2019. Jokujekku's releases are primarily singles, but in January 2024, he collaborated with the artist droemsk to release a full-length album titled tonight or tomorrow. Over the years, Jokujekku has worked with several other musicians on his single releases, including Jk Beatbook, Jökull Logi, Anatolian Lover, S-Ilo, Milan Beats, Tree Climber, Less Gravity, VNPR, and Devon Rea.
In his professional life, Jokujekku has been working as a freelance audio engineer since January 2016. His expertise spans across various roles such as recording engineer, field recording, boom operator, live mixing, and post-production work. He has collaborated with companies like TWBA, Soundfortress Oy, Muuntamo Sounds Oy, and Videolle Oy, among others. Earlier in his career, he also worked as a sound engineer and technician.
