Biography
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Jordan Dodson has won prizes in several national and international guitar competitions.
In 2008, he attended Oscar Ghiglia's Incontri Chitarristici di Gargnano festival. In the summer of 2009, he attended the Aspen Music Festival as a scholarship student in Sharon Isbin's class.
He has recently appeared as guest soloist with the Cincinnati College- Conservatory of Music Orchestra performing Joseph Schwantner's guitar concerto "From Afar…" Jordan has given several U.S. and world premieres of music by contemporary composers. He is currently commissioning new works from New York-based composers.
