Jussi Hakulinen was a Finnish artist from Pori, known from his early years with Yö. He has managed to compose a few songs that some consider classics nowadays, such as Joutsenlaulu and Rakkaus on lumivalkoinen. He left the band a couple of years after forming it with the vocalist Olli Lindholm, and pursued a solo career and was part of Kinsky. Some of Yö's songs were copyrighted to him and the band couldn't play them live.
In the 2000's Jussi rejoined Yö on bigger concerts and even composed some songs for them.
Jussi Hakulinen passed away on August 9th, 2022.
