What's poppin! So you have discovered my music! Lemme tell you a bit about me. I go by the name Kabwasa and I am a 24 year-old Aquarius singer/rapper guy! I was born and raised in Watsonville, California! If you don't know where that is, google “Where does Martinelli’s Apple Cider come from?” or you can google “Where are the bombest strawberries in the world grown?” ORRR bump my Watsonville EP!!
My music is best described as R&B/Hip-Hop/Old-School/New-School/Neosoul fusion. If you’re into being sonically transcended with good vibes, then you’re in the right place! Some of my biggest inspirations include Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder, Smino, Anderson .Paak., and the girl from the Education Connection Commercial (google that if you have to).
My goal is to bring good energy to everyone who hears my music and inspire them to explore their creativity whether it be from bumping my songs in the car or seeing me dance around stage live.
