Biography
James Makepeace, also known as Kai After Kai, is a music producer from London. Influenced by experimental hip-hop groups like clipping and Injury Reserve, as well as soundtracks by the likes of Akira Yamaoka, Kai started making music for their YouTube videos in order to avoid copyright, but quickly found that music became a creative outlet in its own right. Since their debut EP『4x4』in 2021, they've released multiple other projects, exploring the genres of ambient and noise.
