Biography
Karen Kosowski (born Monday May 1st, 1978 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian musician, songwriter, performer and producer. As her own solo project, she has released 4 full length recordings and a variety of shorter EP's and singles, most of which are now out of print. Her sound continually evolves with each new project, from earthy folk to ambient, moody melodies, to the electropop feel of her latest release, Meeting The Future At Full Speed (released March 29, 2008).
Karen is also involved with a variety of projects in Toronto, including writing and performing with her side project National Sound, production projects (most recently for Tamara Podemski) and lending vocals to projects for Courtney Farquhar, Marc Rogers and others.
