Kill The Child is a musical project fronted by post-punk chameleon Gio Orlando. Kill The Child is stylized by a lethargically slow and brooding, depressing and atmospheric brew of industrial, sludge, and doom metal. Lyrics typically focus on subjects such as self-harm, self-hatred, sex, money, and other heavy handed topics.
The biggest musical influences on Kill The Child include Swans, Earth, Godflesh, Burzum, Glenn Branca, and Daughters. Orlando’s other solo projects include the synth punk/synthpop/industrial hybrid Whorehouse and his most successful project, the one man slowcore/post-rock band of Annie Hall.
