This legendary ska-power-pop group was formed in London, Ontario, Canada in 1987. By 1990, they had relocated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. King Apparatus represented a pop ska sound that can be described as Elvis Costello meets the Specials. A 6 piece band that comprised of 2 guitars, organ, bass, drums, and vocals.

Numerous relentless tours across Canada led to their influential status across the country. Legendary for their explosive live shows, aggressive guitar driven sound and well crafted singalong tunes. By 1994, the group disbanded to pursue other interests and many of the members are still at large in the music community. In 2000, both King Apparatus albums were reissued by Asian Man Records and the band reformed for a highly successful reunion tour of Canada. Subsequently, the band recorded six new studio tracks, which are still unreleased.
