Not really. The first couple of albums can be compared to Death In June in a way, but yet I wouldn't say it is that similar. Burning Daylight already had its own distinct style based on gothic americana/death country or whatever you may call it. This album really stands out in this style in general and in King Dude's discography in particular. And I wish he continued developing that style. What was next is a completely different story, which again has nothing in common with Death In June.

it's throughout not bad, and "our love will carry on" is among my faves, yet I rather prefer all the previous works though, to me they seem also more accessible. well, I see, i'm in quite a minority

А по моему кинг дьюд замечательный сонграйтер выпустивший как минимум пару хороших и несколько неплохих релизов, что в наш скудный на хорошую музыку век уже многого стоит.

имхо, сейчас наоборот выбор музла как никогда богатый. и несколько нелепо на этом фоне выглядит кинг дудь, эмулирующий без каких-либо инноваций всякий хлам из 80-х типа гот рока, изжившего себя ровно тогда же.

Написал человек в 2022 году. Уважаемый, этому проекту ТиДжея до фига лет. Он отличный сонграйтер, как там выше кто-то написал. Ему как минимум за это стоит респектовать. Вживую, к слову, он с командой ебейшие. Не совру, если скажу, что один из самых запомнившихся мне ламповых гигов был как раз с King Dude.

I just can't get around the name of this project. It is so incredibly incongruent with the music and sounds like a dumb joke. It's like calling Death in June "President Lad".
