Biography
Jacob Starr, aka Kingtone is a blues and R&B artist based in Philadelphia, Pa. Kingtone has played extensively on the east coast and toured the southwest many times. Kingtone's music is best described as good time party or bar band. Influences include; Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmie Vaughan, Duke Robillard, Little Feat and The J. Geils band.
Kingtone has backed national artists including Junior Wells and has headlined premier venues in Philadelphia, New York and Austin, Texas.
