Klaus Paier studied accordian, jazz and composing at the Conservatory of Klagenfurt. He was especially inspired by composers such as Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Charles Mingus and Thelonious Monk. Paier had concert tours in Israel, France, Italy, Sweden, Poland and many other countries as a solo musician, in a duet with Gerald Preinfalk, in a trio with Stefan Gferrerra and Roman Werni and with The Radio String Quartet Vienna.
